JustLinkIT is the BusinessVision program interface to the StarShip Shipping Software. When JustLinkIT is launched, it remains minimized on the task bar. When an order has been completed within BusinessVision and you are ready to add the Freight charges, simply click the JustLinkIT icon on the task bar. The JustLinkIT screen (shown below) appears with all the order details. Click on the StarShip button, the StarShip application is launched, and the Businessvision Order Entry details automatically populate the StarShip fields. BusinessVision is only able to retain two addresses ... a Bill-To address and a Ship-To address. However, many distribution-type businesses also require a "drop-ship" address. JustLinkIT offers you the extended functionality to be able to enter a "drop-ship" address. This will be written to a separate file and will be compatible for all BusinessVision reporting through Crystal Reports.
On completion of the StarShip function, JustLinkIT writes-back to BusinessVision:
In the event that there is more than one package, tracking numbers for each package will be written-back to the BusinessVision order and displayed within the body of the Order Confirmation, Packing Slip and Invoice ... and any internal reports that you might run.
